The Pit is a persistent, shared underground world. The amber-marked starter rooms were really built by the caretaker; they are not fake visitor activity.
Build with tiles, not code. Rooms are 16 × 12. Choose a title, a colour mood, and approved tiles. There are no uploads, links, arbitrary text, scripts or private messages.
Your draft is local. Your submission is shared. Drafts stay in this browser. Submitted rooms are saved on the server, pending a real caretaker's approval. Only approved rooms appear in the world.
Your browser is your key. A signed, HttpOnly cookie grants ownership for 30 days. There is no email login and no recovery. Clearing cookies, changing browser or letting the cookie expire loses access to My rooms. Public approved rooms may remain.
Keep it kind. No hateful symbols, sexual imagery, harassment, spam or personal information, even made from tiles. Use the report control inside a room if something needs attention. Reports do not automatically remove rooms.
This is a bounded beta: up to 500 stored rooms, including non-public rooms. The caretaker can pause building or remove rooms. Data may be lost; don't treat this as permanent storage. Room ownership identifiers are never public.
